Ruth of Moab, Israelite  Ancestor of Jesus Christ

The clergy of the "Christian world communal system of churches" use the story of Ruth of Moab to teach our young people that Jesus Christ came from a racially mixed family line, so they instruct that it's OK for young Americans to wed outside of separate racial families created by Yahweh who filled the Earth with the beauty of diverse peoples.  In Matthew 1:5 Ruth is listed as an ancestor of Jesus Christ.  However, Yahweh's law forbids His covenant people from mixing their seed since the ability to rule the nation according to "God given government" is an inherited trait handed down from our father Adam of Genesis 2:7. (Adam was not the first person on Earth, since the various races pre-existed him by hundreds of thousands of years.  This is both according to the Hebrew text as well as anthropological and archaeological proofThe Bible specifically tells us that Israel must keep the family line undefiled as we see in Deut.7:3,4; Ezra 9:1,2; 10:2,3; Lev.20:24,26; etc. so how is it that Ruth from Moab, a dark nation, is to be found in the genealogy of Jesus Christ?

What the Scriptures teach about Israel, Ruth, and Moab:

Summary Highlight:

     1)  Moab was originally a land occupied by non-Israelite dark people, racial  Moabites

       2)  Another non-Israel people, the Amorites, defeated the Moabites in battle and took their land, but still called it "Moab".

       3)  Israel then conquered the land of Moab from the Amorites, and either killed or drove out all of its inhabitants, both racial Amorites and racial Moabites.

       4)  Israel then moved into this land, but it was still known as "Moab".

       5)  Ruth came from the then present Israelite dwellers in the land of Moab.  She was a geographical "Moabite", but not a racial Moabite.

Bible specifics:

In 1453 B.C. the Amorite king Sihon conquered the kingdom of Moab before Israel came on the scene. (date source: Rotherham Bible, page 195, center column)  We read at Numbers 21:26 below:

"For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon." (v.26)

"Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites." (v.29)

This land was east of the river Jordan from the Arnon river on the south, and north to the Jabbok river.  Heshbon was a main city in the land of Moab.  Even though the Amorites conquered the land, it was still known as Moab. (see Westminster Dictionary of the Bible, 1944 ed., page 402)  The Amorite Moabites were a people known for their wickedness and warring culture, and were oppressors in their day.

When Israel was at war with these Amorite Moabites, Yahweh Almighty told His people not to seek any military compromise with these particular heathen, but rather destroy every last one of them because of their evil nature.  We learn in Deuteronomy 2:32-34 that Israel thoroughly destroyed Amorite occupied Moab:

32  "Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

33  And Yahweh our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

34  And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:"

Numbers 21:31-35 tells us that Israel conquered this entire vicinity, then they did the same to the Amorites to the immediate north who were under subjection to King Og of the Bashan Ammonites.  The entire area was cleared of Ammonites, Amorites, and Moabites; THEN Israel moved in and took possession of the land for their own people.  (Please keep in mind that this is not about Jews, but Israel, who are the ancestors of Saxon Christendom today)  Before the battle against Og, Yahweh told Moses to do the same as they did against King Sihon the Amorite who took the Moabite city of Heshbon for himself:

34  "And Yahweh said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. (in Moab)

35 So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.(Num.21:34,35)

After this series of historical and military events the Israelites were the ONLY PEOPLE LIVING IN THE LAND OF MOAB. Moreover, the land was STILL CALLED MOAB even though all the racial Moabites were either killed or driven out (those lucky enough to barely escape).  The Bible even tells us which tribes of Israel took possession of this specific area:

12  "And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

13  And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants."  (Deut.3:12,13, whole chapter)

So the land of Moab, by 1450 B.C., belonged to the Israelite tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh.  Yet these Israel people were often called "Moabites" because they lived in the Israel territory of Moab.  An historical parallel would be what happened with California.  California was once a Mexican possession, but later became part of America. When we say that somebody is from California we don't mean that they are citizens of Mexico, although at one time in the past Californians were only Mexicans.

Additionally, we know that 300 years after Israel took possession of Moab from the Amorites, and captured the land of Ammon to the north, the king of the children of Ammon tried to retake this land but failed.  The book of Judges chapter 11 tells of this account, in particular verse 26.  That was in 1140 B.C., and Israel still dwelt in this former Moabite area which they captured in 1450 B.C.  This means that former Moab was solely an Israelite territory for at least 300 years, which is longer than present day America has been a nation!!  And exactly when did Ruth, the so called "Moabite" live??  The story of Ruth took place close to the year 1320 B.C. or 130 years after there were no racial Moabites anywhere to be found in her land!!   And for another 180 years after Ruth's time, Judges chapter 11 says that this land was still an Israelite possession!!!

Ruth was geographically a "Moabitess" from one of the Israel tribes of Reuben, Gad, or Manasseh.  When she married Boaz the Israelite from far off Bethlehem, there was no crossing of racial lines as is proclaimed by the churches today.  King David was the great grandson of Ruth, and Jesus Christ came from this branch of Israelites .... by the way, this is in complete obedience concerning the below commandment of Yahweh God Almighty:

"An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Yahweh; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of Yahweh for ever:" (Deut.23:3)

Yahweh had cursed any Israelite/Moabite marriage union and provided that 11 generations would be necessary to clean the bloodline.  King David, only three generations removed from Ruth, could not have ascended the throne or even be in the Israelite congregation had Ruth actually been a racial Moabite.  To teach that Jesus Christ descended from a marriage directly condemned by Yahweh's own Law is sheer folly!

In fact, Yahweh has not forgotten the natural traits of the real Moabites who would regenerate from the few that escaped Israel's wrath:

"Therefore as I live, saith Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them." (Zeph.2:9)

"We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart."

"And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against Yahweh."  (Jer.48:29,42)

Let nobody deceive you into believing that Ruth was a racial Moabite, a cursed people, arrogant, cruel, and haughty in the eyes of God Almighty.  Our Bible clearly teaches that she was a great woman of Israel and a wonderful example of faith for all to follow.  The genealogy of Jesus Christ as listed in the book of Matthew chapter One contains only a heritage of Israel people and no others.  Our Savior's ancestor Ruth was of racial Israel, yet she dwelt in the land of ancient Moab.
