The
false "Christian" Communalism theory and the Communist State
Acts
2:44 reads: "And all
that believed were together, and had all things common".
Is
the above verse a sanction of Communism? No, it is not and the
Scriptures clearly teach why.
Godly
sharing is not a state forced redistribution of wealth!
"But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain
(nation) of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of
the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people
shall flow unto it,
And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the
mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will
teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the law
shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar
off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their
spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against
nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree;
and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts
hath spoken it."

Micah 4:1-4)
The
above Scriptures verses are from the book of Micah and contain a
prophecy declaring that at the end of this age God's nation would
provide a place where each man would have his own private property
and not live in fear of government tyrants. It will be a time
of peace where "spears become pruning hooks" and there will
be no more wars. Totalitarian governments, such as
Communism/Socialism and its nullification of private property rights
by the state, will have become a thing of the past, and each man will
be "king of his castle" reaping the fruit of his own
labor. Needless to say, we haven't fully arrived at this point
in time, and this particular Bible promise has yet to be completed.
Before Yahweh establishes the fullness of His Kingdom
on Earth the Scriptures teach that a time of severe judgment for the
nations must pass.
An erroneous supposition exists in some theological circles that
Acts 2:44 teaches "Christian Communism". It does
not. Acts 2:44 reads:
"And all that believed were together, and had all things common".
Relegating this verse to "state communism" denies the fact
that the rest of the Bible explicitly tells us that God's faithful
people owned their own private lands, homes, goods, etc. in the
spirit of responsible accountability. Acts 2:44 simply teaches
the virtue of sharing
and the proper perspective that Christians should have toward
material things. Christians during the time and place of
old Jerusalem were persecuted, however they realized the dire need to
spread the Gospel. It was indeed a true state of
emergency. Certain possessions were sold and shared in order to
advance the Kingdom principles of Jesus Christ. Professor A.T.
Robertson, 1933, in his Word Pictures in the
New Testament volume 3, page 39 discussing
the Greek text of Acts 2:44 stated:
"It was not actual communism, but they held all their property
ready for use for the common good as it was needed (#4:32). This
situation appears nowhere else except in Jerusalem and was evidently
due to special conditions there which did not survive permanently.
Later Paul will take a special collection for the poor saints in Jerusalem."
A careful reading of Acts 4:32-35 explains the situation in Jerusalem
at the time.
"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and
of one soul: neither said any of them that ought
of the things which
he possessed was his own; but they had all
things common. (32)
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection
of the Master
Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. (33)
Neither was there any among them that lacked:
for as many as were possessors of lands or
houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were
sold, (34)
And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made
unto every man according as he had need." v35 (Acts
4:32-35)
Let's appreciate some critical points about the above verses.
First, in verse 32 the believers did privately
possess "things". It was the USE
of "certain" things that was in common, not the possession,
since a "need" had to arise first (v.35).
Communism orders its captives by dictating "What's
yours is mine, I'll take it.". What the
Christians were saying here is, "What's mine is yours, I'll
share it!" And there is a world of difference between the
two. Secondly, they "were selling" lands and
houses and the price obtained was used for distribution to those who
had need. The King James Version makes this verse sound like they
all went out and "sold"
their homes all
at once, which premise is incorrect. The Greek text uses a
"present active" verb form of "selling"
(piprasko) in an ongoing
sense. The believers in this verse were from time
to time selling their lands if a serious
need was brought before their attention. It was a great act of
love for the brethren which they were all in agreement with, but they
did not immediately divest themselves of all their lands in a fashion
likened to wayward people joining a cult. Also, Roman and
Jewish authorities were persecuting and dispossessing these first
century Christians of their lands and homes anyway. It was much
better to get rid of these possessions while they could and apply the
money to where it could do some good ...
in the hands of those furthering the Kingdom of God. It was all
a matter of seeing a need and giving voluntarily with all the heart,
not communalism, that prompted their actions. In fact Christ
said to those who gave up their possessions, that they would get it
all back eventually:
"And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is
no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive
an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters,
and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions;
and in the world to come eternal life."
(Mark 10:29).
The point being .... Christians must be ready to part with material
things if need be for the Gospel's sake. They can expect to get
it back into their private possession in God's time, but
with persecutions, which means we must
be ready to lose it again for the Faith if the need
arises. "Naked came I
out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: Yahweh
gave, and Yahweh
hath taken away; blessed be the name of Yahweh."
(Job 1:21)
The Scriptures do not teach Communism
or communal holding of property as either a lifestyle or a political
option. God's Word teaches that ALL THINGS ARE YAHWEH's and that He let's us have
certain goods during this short life on Earth.
" The earth is Yahweh's, and the
fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."
(Psalms 24:1) (The world does not belong to the state)
"But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for
I know that ye have much cattle,) shall
abide in your cities which I have given you; Until Yahweh
have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they
also possess the land which Yahweh
your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and
then shall ye return every man unto his possession,
which I have given you."
(Deut.3:19,20)
"And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance
among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more
inheritance , and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance:
every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth;
according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit."
(Numbers 33:54)
"And when Joshua had let the people
go, the children of Israel went every man
unto his inheritance to possess the land"
( Judges 2:6)
"Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour,
working with his hands the thing which is good, that
he may have to give to him that needeth".
(Ephesians 4:28)
"For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will
ye may do them good (charity
giving from your possessions)
but me ye have not always." (Mark 14:7)
"But whoso hath this world's good,
and seeth his brother have need,
and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the
love of God in him?" (1
John 3:17)
"And Yahweh
thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand,
in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and
in the fruit of thy land, for good: for Yahweh
will again rejoice over thee for good, as He
rejoiced over thy fathers."
(Deut.30:9)
We may observe from these and many more Scripture passages that
Yahweh's laws recognize the possession of private property rights
which is the opposite
of Communism where the State owns all. America was founded upon
the Christian principles of cherishing "God given
rights" for private possession of goods, and the government was
created for one purpose only ....
to protect those rights. Somewhere along the way America has
forgotten its lawful origins. In fact the chart below shows how the
present administration of U.S. government and State governments in
America have shifted away from the Divine precepts of private
ownership recognized in 1776. In Karl Marx's Communist
Manifesto there are listed "10
planks" necessary to "Communize" a nation of free
people, making them slaves to the elite few who run the state.
America has presently adopted all 10 planks as the method of
enforcing public policy, a public by the way which has strayed from
God's laws. Upon reading the comparison below it will be obvious that
Communism is not dead as we are led to believe, but rather the West
has now itself become nearly Communist, and has merely changed the
name of Communism to "world democracy". The
Berlin Wall was not demolished because Communism had been
destroyed. On the contrary, the Berlin Wall was removed because
the West has made the regressive steps into Marxism to the point that
Western nations are no longer a threat to Eastern pagan political
reforms.. In effect .... we have been Communized.

Not
only is the government implementation of the above non SCriptural
and antiChristian, it is downright self destructive to our stability,
national security, and our preservation as an American society.
With the advent of forced communalism within our borders, America has
gone from the industrious inventive leader of the world to a nation
of consumers feeding off the products of backward lands.
Our store shelves are cram packed with items made anywhere but in our
own country, while American industry is leaving from our shores to
set up shops in heathen lands. This, of course, is the punishment
America receives for listening to preachers who have socialized the
Scriptures for internationalism, and for rejecting God's laws in
favor of doing so called "good humanitarian works" in
Christ's Name. The social Gospel foolishly attempts to
upend Yahweh's order which teaches that all things must be in its
order and in its place. "The
disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his owner."
(Mat. 10:24).
In 1776 colonial Christian
Americans, who were not communalists, created a servant called the
Federal Government. This servant was created by them TO SERVE
THEM by existing only to protect their God given rights, as quoted
from the Declaration of Independence, "That
to secure these rights, governments are instituted by men."
Any function beyond that ,
our original law says is a government acting unlawfully.
The social Gospel and Communism both violate the Word of our Eternal
King by placing that which is created above that which created it.
Communists are atheists who place created man above Yahweh the
Creator. Communists are law breakers in that they place
"government", a created servant, above God fearing men who
created it in the first place. This is why Americans live in
virtual fear of their own government today. The servant has
become master over the people. Of course Yahweh has allowed
this for several reasons. Those who are arrogant enough to
think they are above God Almighty are permitted to condemn themselves
by their actions. Also since America was not vigilant in
cherishing its Christian foundations, the nation must now pay the
price of having the ungodly rule over it. In the end Yahweh's
Kingdom will prevail as promised by His Word. The Almighty has
spoken, and Communism, Socialism, Nazism, Dictatorships, Democracy,
and all the other governments not found within Yahweh's righteous
standards will pass on into oblivion.
"For unto us a child is
born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His
shoulder: and His
name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His
government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of
David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with
judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Yahweh
of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah
9:6,7)
Communism is not taught
within the Holy Scriptures!!
The government of the Holy
Scriptures is the Kingdom of Yahweh!!
"No King but Jesus!"
