[  Here's a technical note about the Gregorian  week day "Sabbath shift" as viewed in our regular printed solar calendar and at our web site calendar link (true solar calendar) The 91st Day Calendar believers hold to the position that there should be no "Sabbath shift" in the third month as seen in our solar calendar.  However, based on the Bible and not the Book of Jubilees,  in the third month days 4 & 5 comprise a double Sabbath 48 hours long.  These are counted as ONE SABBATH, an adjustment period, and the regular weekly 6 day work cycle begins again AFTER this Sabbath.  The affect, as viewed from today's present Gregorian calendar, is that the Sabbath advances one Gregorian named week day each year at this time, while on the solar calendar all its DATES for the Sabbaths and Feast days remain the same year from to year.  In fact, it is actually the modern Gregorian calendar with named weekdays that is shifting yearly within that calendar, while Yahweh's calendar remains stable annually. This is why your birthday is never on the same named weekday from year to year, even though it's on the same date.  Because the Gregorian days shift in comparison to the stable fixed solar calendar used by ancient Israel, if the Sabbath is on Tuesday this year, next year it will be on Wednesday, the year after on Thursday, etc., etc.  So if we just remember that it is today's calendar named days (Sun - Sat) that are shifting away from the yearly FIXED DATES, and that Yahweh's solar calendar is the stable one, with the Sabbaths on the same SOLAR DATES every month each year -- it will help our understanding a great deal.

  For instance --- there are those who say the Sabbath is always on Saturday.  But let's say that a Saturday comes on June 10th one year.  The next year Saturday won't be on June 10th and it is therefore not a fixed annual Sabbath on the same date each year.  The year after, Saturday will be even further removed from its yearly starting date.  The following year after -- even more removed.  However, a Sabbath is always on the same day and date each year on Yahweh's solar calendar.  Thus, days # 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 of month one (Abib) will be a weekly Sabbath every year on the solar calendar and will not change. The Bible teaches that Yahweh does not change and neither does His dates for Sabbaths and Feast Days.

    The self adjusting calendar law at Pentecost aligns the calendar each year to deal with the issue of the "extra day" in a year, the 365th day, while maintaining the commandment that there must be 6 work days in-between weekly Sabbaths. It also causes all the Sabbaths and Feast days to be on exactly the same SOLAR CALENDAR DATE each year making an annually fixed calendar that does not vary from year to year. The Scriptural authority to do so rests upon the fact that day 5 of month 3 is Pentecost (50th day after the Wave Sheaf offering in the month of Abib), and this calendar law is patterned after the law of the Jubilee year, the 50th year, in Leviticus chapter 25.  A new "7 weeks of years"( 49 years in number)  starts again AFTER the 50th year of the Jubilee.   ]

   There is one thing that the "Book of Jubilees" certainly is NOT --- and that is a book of Jubilees.  The real Jubilee period of Leviticus chapter 25 is a division of years that totals 50 (FIFTY) years long.  In comparison, within the Book of Jubilees all the cycles of time for weeks and years are set on divided periods of 49's.  There is no true and Scriptural 50th Jubilee year period in the Book of Jubilees.  It's all 49, 49, 49, etc.  Just digressing quickly for a moment, while we're mentioning dreadful inaccuracies within the Book of Jubilees, before we go any deeper into the adjustment aspect of the true Biblical Jubilee, the reader may wish to know that this book, upon which the 91st Dayers stake their calendar claim, tells us that before the transgression in the Garden of Eden by Adam and Eve, that all the animals of the world verbally spoke with each other in a real language.  (see Jubilees 3:28)   This is just one of several silly and superstitious things we are expected to believe in this book. It would mean that the dinosaurs, many of which were horrifying carnivores, ran around bellowing at each other "I'm going to catch you and rip your head off."  Birds singing those "whistling melodies" that we enjoy so much are actually bellowing out territorial warnings and mating calls. If they could speak, all we would hear all day would be top of the lung screams, "get off my branch NOW, or I'll peck your eyes out" --- or, sexually suggestive cries during the mating season that we won't even mention.  It would certainly put a dent in the beauty of nature as we know it.  No my friends, the pre - Edenic animal world  never spoke in man's common languages, there is not a shred of evidence that they did, and there is no 50th year Jubilee in the Book of Jubilees.  The book is misnamed and in that respect it is fraudulent.

  The Book of Jubilees, for those who trust in it, is said to have been a revelation given to Moses by an angel.  In reality it dates however from  the 2nd Temple period.    Language scholars examining the Jubilee  scrolls at Qumran conclude, based on internal text syntax evidence, that the Book of Jubilees was written in Hebrew between the year that Hyrcanus became high priest (135 BC) and his breach with the Pharisees some years before his death in (105 BC), and that the author was a Pharisee.  The Pharisees were forerunners of the group we know today as "jews".  Rabbi  Louis Finkelstein, Instructor of Talmud, and later president of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, writes:"Pharisaism became Talmudism, Talmudism became Medieval Rabbinism, and Medieval Rabbinism became Modern Rabbinism." (from his book, The Pharisees: The Sociological Background of Their Faith, page xxi)  The fact that the Book of Jubilees, upon proper examination discloses a Pharisee author, explains why it would conflict with Moses' writings in Leviticus 25, that the Jubilee cycle was a distinct 50 years.  The author of the Book of Jubilees says the this cycle is only 49 years, and  that "year number one" of the next 49 year cycle counts as the "50th year jubilee".  Please re-read the last sentence again as it is critical to unravelling the slight of hand (or pen, that is)  twisted within the Book of Jubilees.

  Clearly, Moses would not contradict himself on such an important matter as the Jubilee cycle.  Moses did not write the Book of Jubilees.  When we understand that Moses had no intention of ever deviating from the 50 year Jubilee cycle,and that he did not author the 49 year Jubilee cycle of the Book of Jubilees, we will better understand why the "365th day adjustment time" for the sacred calendar coincides with Jubilee/Pentecost on the true solar calendar, and NOT with the Vernal Equinox Day on the counterfeit 91st Day Baal Sun calendar.

  Let's spell it out a bit more precisely:

     We have two conflicting views as to the amount of years in the Jubilee cycle.  Leviticus chapter 25 has it as 49 years (7 x 7  "weeks" of years) plus 1 special year, the 50th year of the Jubilee.  Then after the 50th year, the next 49 year cycle begins again. That is, there's a double Sabbath at years 49 & 50, then the next cycle of years begins again after year 50 with "year one" of the next 49 years.  The Pharisaic Book of Jubilees, throughout its chapters, has only a repeated 49 year cycle.  It unscripturally claims that the first year of the next 49 year cycle is also the (supposed) 50th year, and  the next 49 year cycle actually starts again on that so called "50th Jubilee year".  What we have brothers and sisters -- is that there never is a real separate and distinct 50th year after year 49 in the Book of Jubilees.  Therefore the true Jubilee (the separate year number 50) is nowhere to be found in the Book of Jubilees!  And just who interprets, in some Bible commentary notes that the Mosaic Jubilee is only a 49 year cycle?  Pharisee Jewish scholars and jewized "Christian" clergy who would benefit from not letting the society have a blessed and appointed year of release from debt (the reason for the true Jubilee in the first place -- more on this shortly ) 

  Let's remember that there are different computations in the Bible of dates, and times, and prophecy.  Numbers dealing with man's events can be seen in 7's, and series of sevens, such as Daniel's 70 weeks of prophecy which is 70 x 7 = 490 years.  Then we have different revelations of time where Yahweh intervenes into the affairs of men.  The intercalary Jubilee year is one such instance.  Let's take note that from Yahweh Almighty's perspective He likens large sections of "time" (an era) to simply a "day" in His measurement.  2 Peter 3:8 states,  "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with Yahweh as a thousand years , and a thousand years as one day."   This measurement is only applicable for repentant Israel regenerated in the Spirit unto Kingdom awareness.  The "day" here is one complete cycle of Yahweh dealing with man in the "spirit of His kingdom".  It is a Jubilee reckoning of time.  If we are computing merely on dead letter words where a Jubilee period is only a 49 year period repeated over and over again, then we would have that "day-era" reckoned as  49 years x 20 such Jubilee periods = only 980 years that would attempt to fit into that "day".  But that's not what Yahweh determines. 

    A true Jubilee cycle is 50 years, and there are 2 true Jubilees in every 100 years.  Then the equation correctly becomes 50 years x 20 true Jubilee cycles = 1000 years that Yahweh sees as the LIVING WAY in which He deals with repentant and obedient Israel.  1000 years, not 980 years is as a "day" to Yahweh.   20, of course, is 2 x 10, which signifies the giving of the 10 Commandments twice on Mt. Sinai  to redeem man.  The first stone tablets of law were broken, and then were received (renewed) again by Moses.  Thus the stipulations of the permanent covenant of the law before and after Christ were already presented long ago at Sinai.  The 980 year cycle/day proposed by the Pharisee author of Jubilees and the present 91st Day calendar adherents, falls short of Yahweh's complete "day" of salvation working in groups of 1000 years.  A week (7 days) being 7000 years complete, which is only possible by Yahweh's intervention of adding the extra Jubilee 50th time period to the Earthly creation time of 7's (7 x 7= only 49).  The life of the Spirit in Christ to live by the law without condemnation is given from beyond creation at Jubilees and Pentecost. It was at Pentecost that the called out believers in Christ received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  This divine intervention day is THE ADJUSTMENT needed to rectify our mortality.  The writings of Moses in Leviticus 25 confirm this, while the writings in the Book of Jubilees deny this.  To live by the pattern of adjusting the yearly solar calendar days at Pentecost proclaims an understanding of LIFE UNTO IMMORTALITY at Yahweh's appointed time.  To live by the pattern of attempting* to adjust the yearly solar calendar at the Vernal Equinox proclaims DEATH FOLLOWING CARNAL PHARISEE DECEPTION. 

 (*"attempting" because the calendar year can't technically,chronologically, scientifically, astronomically, or Scripturally be adjusted for time on that day. It won't work, but the specifics involve too much detailed explanation for now.  Basically, as soon a the V.E. strays, and it will, from of the March 20th noon date they use, the 91st Day Sabbath calendar falls apart due to lack of the next year lining up to the following year's Abib day 1)

   Another way that the Scriptures tell us that the Jubilee year 50 is not merely the first year of the next 49 year cycle is that on year number 8, crops were to be planted again.  The Jubilee was a year of land rest where no planting was permitted (Lev.25:11)

11 "A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

22 And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store."

    So we see here that the 50th year and the 8th year are different years.

 Counting a "week" of years as 7 years, it means that a reference to an "8th year" is pointing out the first year of the next  "week" of  years.  If we were to count straight through the years, the "8th year" as used for emphasis in this verse of Leviticus 25, would be year # 51.  The "two year" singular Sabbath (years 49,50) shifts or "bumps" the year/weeks ahead one year as the Jubilee 50th year fits in-between the cycle, after year 49.  This is a Jubilee cycle.  It's 50 years, not 49 years.  The same thing happens with the year's calendar  7 weeks (49 days) after the wave sheaf offering in the month of Abib.  The 49th day is Sabbath day 4 of month 3, and the next day 5 is Pentecost Sabbath. They are counted as only A single Sabbath, an adjustment time, and the next 6 work days start after Pentecost.  This adjusts the calendar each year to account for the "extra day" so the calendar dates do not "fall backward" throughout the seasons over hundreds of years; similar to the Jubilee year keeping the nation from falling backward into spiraling debt and economic ruin.  As in nature, as in government, as in Sabbath keeping -- Yahweh sets the appointed times to adjust the variations and remove the rough edges in the universe of our lives.  The Jubilee and Pentecost are pillars of purpose for His divine plan of the ages.  Transferring this observation to an object (statue), a man (person of renown), or an natural phenomenon ( the Sun at V.E.),  begins the dangerous practice of  leading people to worship the creation instead of the Creator.  (Romans 1:25)

  The Scriptures themselves explain this graphically.

    Moses in Leviticus 25 recognized Yahweh's commanded Jubilee as a special separate year number 50, and a  Sabbath doubled with the last year number 49.  Simply reading the Scriptural intent of the Jubilee year reveals this separate event of great importance.   The intervention of the Jubilee year into the affairs of the nation is an adjustment year to keep the nation from falling apart under the strain of accumulated debts.  It is a release from debts and it is a year separate and unlike any of the other years.

Leviticus 25: 8 - 17

8  "And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9  Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.  ( note: The Jubilee was first announced on that day)

10  And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11  A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12  For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13  In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

14  And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:

15  According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:

16  According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.

17  Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am Yahweh your God."

  The year of Jubilee was added every fifty years after the "7 weeks" of years (49) and is an adjustment to the nation since Yahweh knows our mortal weaknesses in the difficulties of debts.  The  nation was not allowed to proceed down a road of accumulated debts that would snowball exponentially into eventual economic collapse.  Yahweh intervenes by commanding a special year of release to stop our incompetence (try as we may to do our best).  Upon the year of the 'national Jubilee economic adjustment', in order that we don't fall  into increasing debts --  all debts are forgiven, slaves are released, no work is performed, and men are freed from the limitations of their best carnal efforts to run the economy.  This is a huge help from our Heavenly Father out of His love for us.   Since we can't seem to ever adjust our debts, He will adjust them for us.  Do we now see the importance of the added 50th year of the Jubilee as THE adjustment for the nation? 

  To say that the Jubilee is only a day that takes place on "year one" of the next 49 year period is outright nonsense.  All 49 years were years where debts were tolerated in business functions.  We could not have a Jubilee ( a debt free year) on a debt year, including year one of the next 49 year cycle.  If there ever was a Pharisaic scam to bypass the true Jubilee of Yahweh ( a separate day of His appointed time),  the Book of Jubilees is it!!  I repeat -- there is no Jubilee in the Book of Jubilees!  There is only a pretense of a Jubilee.

  How does all this apply to the solar calendar?

  There are 365 days in an actual astronomical solar year. (the 1/4 day leap year remedy will be discussed in an update)  The symbolic sacred solar calendar of Yahweh has 52 Sabbath weeks of 7 days which equal 364 days in a sacred year.  The "extra day", the 365th day will need to be addressed to keep the sacred year and the astronomical solar year in sync with each other.  The 91st Day calendar based on the Books of Jubilees and Enoch also has 364 day years.  Counterfeits always copy the original.  The difference is that both calendars begin on different days, start each day at a different time, have different times of Sabbaths and Feast Days, and view  the Vernal Equinox in totally different ways.  The  91st Day calendar based on the Books of Jubilees and Enoch places the yearly adjustment day to deal with the "extra day" at the Vernal Equinox day. These "sign or gate days" propose a 48 hour Sabbath here with the previous day. The calendar based on the Bible, excluding the Books of Jubilees and Enoch, places the yearly adjustment day on Pentecost. Pentecost is day number 50 after the seven weeks (49 days) count as given in Leviticus 23:15,16, 23

 15  "And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

16  Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Yahweh.

21  And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations."

   This is a mirror image of the Jubilee weeks of years we see in Leviticus 25 where years 49 and 50 are Sabbath years WHICH ARE COUNTED AS A CONTINUAL SABBATH (singular Sabbath; verse  2  "Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep A Sabbath unto Yahweh".  As we read the rest of the chapter the next cycle of "year weeks" starts again after year 50, which tells us that the single "A Sabbath" mentioned in verse two is years 49 & 50 combined. We also know that the Jubilee year 50 is Yahweh's commanded year to bring the nation back into adjustment from falling into increasing debts.  By these laws we know that the calendar adjustment day to keep the weekly Sabbaths correctly in line with the "extra day 365th" is Pentecost. Pentecost means "50".  Furthermore this still fixes the calendar at 364 symbolic days.  The way this is done is by staying with the Jubilee law having a 48 hour Sabbath, YET COUNTED AS A SINGLE SABBATH, on days 4 & 5 of month 3 -- then after Pentecost (the appointed adjustment day), the regular weekly cycle of 6 work days begins again. (Pentecost is day 5 of the month 3)  What this does, is  "absorb" the extra 365th day neatly into the symbolic sacred calendar, making a two day 48 hour Sabbath to be reckoned as only a single Sabbath. 

   There is no authorization in the Bible to have the yearly adjustment day on the day of the Vernal Equinox. 

 The false authorization to do so comes from the Books of Jubilees and Enoch.  The 50th year is an amazing year and a year unto itself of great blessing. The 50th year of Jubilee adjusts the nation from accumulated debt, the 50th day Pentecost adjusts the calendar from an extra accumulated day, and the Holy Spirit was given on Pentecost to the believing body of Christ to adjust their nature of weakness, strengthening them and making them fit to preach the Gospel to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.  The Vernal Equinox tells us when the Spring season starts.  That's all.  It is not a  spiritual "master day",a "gate day", a "high holy day", nor an "adjustment day" of either the flesh or spirit.  Yahweh's time for intervening divinely works on His complete cycle of mercy and wisdom in His authority.  His Word tells us that two of several of those chosen times are at Jubilees and Pentecost, NOT on the Vernal Equinox.
